This place was the former head offices for ICI in the North East of England. My Mum pointed it out to me as it's
about ten minutes from her house, I had a thorough poke around the place and it was kinda interesting
as modern office buildings go, the view from the roof was particularly great.
While I was on my way down from the roof, passing through one of the top floor offices, an alarm
started to sound across the street. You have to remember I was eight floors up at the time and so wasn't
expecting to hear something quite so loud, for a second I did wonder what the crap was going on.
Apparently it's a regular occurrence and nothing to worry about, second time of hearing may be.
