We've explored an incredibly small section of Gorton Falls. Our visit was sadly rushed and we shall have to return,
at which point I'll get some more pictures up and re-write this text no doubt. From the seized cover just before it's
unusual syphon outfall we travelled a short distance upstream to reach the larger of it's two namesake falls. Another
Mancunian red brick masterpiece Gorton Falls has a couple of key unusual features, one being its outfall the other
being its sections that run through an aquaduct carrying it across Gorton Reservoirs.
Siologen discovered and first explored this drain, alone, during his time in Manchester, you have to give that man props
for his sterling drain hunting prowess and all via public transport!!
