What an awesome drain! Most likely the country's best modern storm drain, without a doubt
one of the top three drains in the UK. Located in sunny Warrington, Bunker was first discovered
and explored by the legendary Drainrat & Oggy a.k.a The Ogg-meister of
UrbanUnderworld
fame, it has just about everything going for it other than it's lack of age, but that can
be overlooked here.
We spent six hours underground exploring the engineering marvel that is Bunker Drain, and
it was one of the most awesome draining trips we have ever embarked upon! Do you get the
feeling we liked it?! You can't really compare it with London drains, they're two extremes
of the same activity, worlds apart! With its masses of features from colossal staircase to
deadly dropshafts there's never really a point during the long walk through when you find
yourself wondering what the next point of interest will be, it's all interesting!
